Sound Problem In Skype | Check Basic Audio Setting When Skype Sound Or Microphone Is Not Working

Skype is one of the best options for audio and video chat to other people in worldwide. Using this Skype service sometime it might be arise problem like doesn’t hear clear sound, Sound in not listen, speech in not clear, Sound is disable, Audio is turn off, only video is working. Now I am trying to solve your problem “How to start audio or sound in your Skype after doing some basic settings” in below step by step guide.

Step 1:
First verify your microphone working in your System. You should listen any of audio song or YouTube video over the internet. Microphone is working on your local system. After that you have to check in Skype test call.

Step 2:
Go on Skype audio setting under the Skype setting option.
From the top go on, Setting > Audio. Click on that now you can see one popup with multiple audio settings options. To check microphone give some voice in microphone then you can see the result as moving green line from left to right.

Step 3:
If you don’t find audio movement in screen that open dropdown. From there you can choose your prefer settings from there.

Now click on green play test button from right side.
Select all option one by one and listen sample test sound by earphone using below method.

How to test microphone from Skype in free

1. Select “Make a Free call” from the same audio setting window,
2. After that you add one sample player in front of you as named “Skype Test Call”. Click on that and hit a call button.

3. Once you start sample test: You can listen some speech as sample sound in your headphone. After that now your turn at that time you have to speech something in fix time in microphone. After beep you will hear your voice return beck by system.
4. If you don’t here, repeat step 3 with another option.
